Hello friends Billy Barton here! I'm the proud owner of Scales and Tales Native Guided Tours on Charlotte Harbor. Thank you for your interest in my fishing charters. First and foremost I was born right here in Charlotte County, Florida in 1984! I was raised on Charlotte Harbor with a fishing pole in my hands. Fishing has always been my passion and I’m grateful to say that I’ve been a full time guide in Southwest Florida now since 2010. My business is fully licensed and insured. Port Charlotte Beach Park is our central point (above). Scales and Tales offers numerous local launches in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Pine Island Sound, and on Boca Grande as well. Our fishing charters happen on Charlotte Harbor or the Gulf of Mexico depending on your parties desires and the time of year. With roots in the Gulf and local backbay fishing being our specialty, the option is yours. You'll be with a full time fishing guide that navigates both on a regular basis and is no stranger to either. Generally where the best local saltwater fishing is, well that's where you'll find us!
